Stamping is a production technology which enables sheet metal to be directly forced in moulds to deform depending on power of conventional or special-purpose stamping equipment and gets part with certain shape, dimension and performance. Sheet metal, the mould and equipment are three factors of stamping which is a metal cold deformation processing method, also named cold stamping or sheet metal stamping, stamping for short. It is one of main metal plastic working (pressure processing) methods, belonging to material formation engineering.
We have ten different stamping equipments with the largest tonnage of 160t, and can produce stamping dies.
1. Stamping has high production efficiency and convenient operation, and is easy to realize mechanization and automation. This is because the stamping is finished through the stamping dies and stamping equipment. The stroke of the common press is dozens of times every minute, and the high-speed press is over hundreds or thousands of times, and can stamp one part in every stamping stroke.
2. Because the dies can ensure the dimension and shape precision in stamping, without damaging the surface quality of the parts, and the lifespan of the die is longer, therefore it has stable stamping quality and good interchangeability, making sure the parts are totally the same.
3. It can process parts larger in size range and complicated in shape, such as second counter of clock, auto longitudinal beam and panel, and the stamping strength and rigidity are higher due to the cold strain hardening effect of materials.
4. Because it can not generate cuttings and crushed aggregates, has small consumption of material and does not need other heating devices, it is a method saving material and energy, and the cost of stamped parts is low.
